365 Photo Series #47 - Wedding Alter

Another entry for my 365 photo series.  Photos, for me, are about light, color and composition. And capturing a moment in time. Emotion often plays a role. Sometimes it's for the viewer, other times it's just for me.

October 5, 2012 - Our street is busy today with preparation for tomorrow's wedding.  The ceremony and reception will be taking place at the end of our Cul de Sac.  This is one of the icons hanging on the alter backdrop.

Santa Barbara Wedding Photographer - Santa Barbara Yacht Club

So again, not the official blog post from Kat and Will's Santa Barbara wedding... but going through their photos I came across this dreamy moment and had to post it up.  This was taken at the beginning of the reception at the Santa Barbara Yacht Club... on the boardwalk with the Yacht Club in the back.  The sun was beginning to set and this was the first quiet moment the newlyweds had to themselves.  This photo really captures the feeling of love, emotion and romance felt throughout the day.  Love it.
