Wedding & Engagement Ring Photos

As a Los Angeles wedding photographer I love "Romancing the Stone,"  i.e., photographing my clients engagement and wedding rings.  The photo can be as simple as placing them on an interesting surface and adding a bit of light to make them pop... or taking them and putting them on or against a prop of some kind.  Beyond the fact that rings are a symbol of commitment... they are just plain gorgeous when captured in the right light and environment.  Here's some of my recent ring photos...

Sound Mixing // Warner Bros. Audio Underground

Broken Glass, the film I worked on as credited still photographer (aka, set photographer) at the beginning of the summer, is in its final stages of post production.  I had the opportunity to sit in on the final sound mixing at Audio Underground, a post production service facility located on the Warner Bros. studio lot in Burbank, CA.  The session was led by Broken Glass director, Daniel R. Chavez, with a huge assist by Antonio Dominick, the film's sound mixer.  It was amazing to see the level of attention and detail that goes into this portion of post production.  From the volume level of the sound of rain outside, to the timing of the music scoring - nothing is random or left to chance.

Enjoy these photos.  My earlier production stills from Broken Glass can be seen here -

365 Photo Series - Shell Study #3

Another entry for my 365 photo series.  Photos, for me, are about light, color and composition. And capturing a moment in time. Emotion often plays a role. Sometimes it's for the viewer, other times it's just for me.

November 2, 2012, 2012 - A seashell - the third in a series of object and form studies.  Nature creates the most amazing designs.
