Los Angeles Family Photographer - MOCA Geffen Contemporary

Spent a fun afternoon at the Geffen Contemporary in downtown Los Angeles, in Little Tokyo. The oddly colored photos were taken in the "color rooms." The colored light had a strange affect... the corners of the rooms seemed to disappear. One of our favorite exhibits was an installation made up of thousands of hanging vinyl strands - like blue spaghetti. Walking through it was like swimming through blue kelp. A day filled with thought-provoking art... our favorite kind of day!

Getty Museum Portrait Photography

We visited the Getty Villa in Malibu recently.  I guess you might call the architectural style "Ancient Greek Contemporary," lol.  The lush grounds are absolutely beautiful.  I couldn't resist the opportunity to take a few photos of Rachel and Angie.  I strongly recommend a visit to both Getty locations if you haven't been.

Caribbean Cruise Photography

We spent the holidays in the Caribbean aboard the beautiful Caribbean Princess. This was our first trip to the Caribbean and we loved it. Spending it with family made it even better. Incredible island scenery, beaches and, of course, food!  Photos shot with the capable Canon G11 and diminutive Canon SD40is.

Santa Clarita Family Photographer

Ventura Photography - Out and About

Angie and I spent yesterday visiting Rachel at Ventura College. It was a beautiful fall day - crisp and wonderful. Angie got some time in on the potter's wheel as well as spent some time at the college library. Surprisingly, the Ventura College library has a very nice children's book section. Does anyone agree that libraries rock!?
