365 Photo Series #22 - Pink Flamingos

Another entry for my 365 photo series.  Photos, for me, are about light, color and composition. And capturing a moment in time. Emotion often plays a role. Sometimes it's for the viewer, other times it's just for me.

September 10, 2012 - We got 'flocked' over night. For those of you unfamiliar with this, it's a fundraiser for an organization, this time the Valencia High School Dance Team. The 'flock' lands in your yard unannounced for a day or so before flying off to the next house. Donations are optional but it's kind of hard to say no to this - which is why it's brilliant (donation by guilt, haha!). We'll be sorry to see the flock leave.
