North Hollywood Childrens Headshots

I had a blast photographing Jack's headshots the other day in North Hollywood.  As a headshot photographer I like to photograph a variety of looks that will work as both commercial headshots and theatrical headshots.  We spent a couple hours shooting in various NoHo locations and ended up with some amazing photos.  Jack had a very upbeat attitude during the entire shoot and took direction extremely well... both attributes directors look for in young actors.  I look forward to working with Jack again in the future!

Los Angeles Headshots // Lisa Picotte

Here are some photos from my recent headshot session in Los Angeles with talented actor and acting teacher extraordinaire, Lisa Picotte.  I met Lisa a couple years ago at a recording studio where both our daughters were doing some voiceover for a Disney animated series.  Through our discussions (we had a lot of time to kill that day!) I learned that Lisa and her husband, David Kaufman, taught acting to kids and were very highly regarded in the industry. Los Angeles Headshots // Teruko Kataoka

Love these headshots taken of versatile actress Teruko Kataoka during our 2 hour headshot session in Santa Clarita, located in Northern Los Angeles.  In a matter of minutes we were able to go from shooting headshots in a cool, sometimes gritty urban area to shooting among trees and wild animals in a beautiful state park.  As a Los Angeles headshot photographer I am always looking for locations that can compliment and reinforce the mood and look my clients and I are after.  The variety of locations in Santa Clarita really added to this session.

Teruko was a lot of fun to photograph and hang out with.  If I were a casting director I would cast her in any role that called for a beautiful young lady with a confident, quirky attitude and personality.  A  romantic comedy would suit Teruko perfectly!

Santa Clarita Headshots // Actress Jolene Kim

I photographed another fantastic headshot session in Santa Clarita, this time with actress Jolene Kim.  You've seen this popular actress featured in prominent roles in "24" as well as "Grey's Anatomy."  I loved how Jolene can at one moment look serious or sultry, and the next moment look completely nerdy.

One of the things I love about photographing headshots is meeting incredibly focused and driven people at various stages of their careers - from aspiring actors to those that are already established.  And I love knowing that regardless of where they're at in their careers, my work can potentially help them reach that next level.
