365 Photo Series #45 - Weed, California

Another entry for my 365 photo series.  Photos, for me, are about light, color and composition. And capturing a moment in time. Emotion often plays a role. Sometimes it's for the viewer, other times it's just for me.

October 3, 2012 - Just passing through the tiny town of Weed on the way home from my Uncle's memorial in Oregon.  I always find it funny that someone named their town, "Weed."  I did a little research and learned that the town is named after a lumber pioneer named Abner Weed.  So there you go, haha.
