October 10, 2012 - Cell phone photo of approaching storm clouds while waiting for Angie to get out of school. We don't often get cool clouds in Los Angeles, so when we do I have to shoot them.

Santa Clarita Portraits // Mark + Terri

Went out on a recent early morning to photograph some portraits of Mark and Terri... a post-wedding engagement session, if you will.  We met at one of my favorite portrait locations in Santa Clarita... a beautiful area smack dab in the middle of suburbia, although you would hardly know it when you're there.  I love shooting among the hundred year old oak trees and wildlife.  It was a beautiful morning.

Santa Clarita Wedding // Jim + Nicole

Here's some photos from this past weekend's Cul de Sac wedding of Jim and Nicole. I was there as a guest but did put on my wedding photographer hat from time to time since there was no official photographer.  The ceremony took place at the end of our Cul de Sac, right in front of my house. The weather was perfect as was, ahem, the location. There was an amazing energy in the air (which might have been helped by the open bar and mariachi music!) and the food truck cuisine was amazing. Great friends, great food, great tunes, and great drinks... what else could one ask for out of a wedding!? Congrats, Jim and Nicole!!
