We had an amazing day at Michelle and Andrew's beautiful fall wedding at the First Congressional Church in Pasadena, historic Pasadena City Hall, and the Westin Pasadena. I've had the honor of photographing many, many weddings over the past several years. I'm always amazed at how different each wedding is... how each has its own personality and flow. But as different and as unique each wedding is, I've learned there is a common thread that makes weddings memorable and special to me, and I think to everyone that is present. It has nothing to do with the size of the wedding or the size of the budget. These are weddings where the bride and groom seem to have made an unspoken commitment to enjoy every moment of the day, to not let wedding day jitters and stress get the best of them, and to savor the presence of their family and friends. This was Michelle and Andrew's wedding to a T. I still can't help smiling, laughing and getting a big warm-fuzzy when looking at their photos!
