I had a cool "Circle of Life" moment today while peering out my bedroom window. A young Cooper's Hawk dive bombed some shrubs and came up with a tasty but unfortunate little lizard. The hawk then flew to a eucalyptus branch just 15 yards from my window. A quick dash to get my camera and I was able to capture him tearing the poor little lizard limb from limb and devouring it. I don't usually go out of my way to photograph birds... well, I guess I still don't.
