We were in Santa Barbara today and took the opportunity to have an impromptu portrait session at the beautiful Santa Barbara Courthouse. The light in this historic building is amazing, as is the architecture. The light and architecture lends itself to very dramatic photos. Please pay no attention to Angie's cow (or giraffe?) hat and random camera straps (all three of us had cameras and were shooting) as I was primarily interested in light and composition. These are a few of my favorites, all taken using only available light.
