Manhattan Beach Wedding - Kristian & Vedika

Manhattan Beach is the quintessential Southern California beach town... with white sand beaches, surfers, beach volleyball, rollerbladers, bicyclists... and my super-chill clients, Kristian and Vedika.   I had the amazing experience of being able to photograph Kristian and Vedika getting ready for their wedding in a home just feet from the sand. While inland baked in a triple-digit heatwave, Manhattan Beach kept things comfortable and cool. I'd be absolutely okay with sand in between my toes before every wedding.

The wedding ceremony was held just a short drive from Manhattan Beach, at Shanghai Reds, in Marina del Rey. With close friends and family present, Kristian and Vedika said "I do" just feet from the marina as the sun began to set into a vermilion sky.

Thank you, Kristian and Vedika, for letting us be a part of your wedding day.

Little Tokyo Wedding - Emily and Jarrod

Hidden among the skyscrapers of Downtown Los Angeles - in Little Tokyo - is the James Irvine Japanese Garden... a magical place also known as Seiryu-en, or "Garden of the Clear Stream." Surprisingly few people know about this hidden little gem, which is located on the grounds of the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center.  This beautiful garden was where Emily and Jarrod were married, in front of close family and friends.  The garden - although small - has many intimate, beautiful locations to shoot... locations that are both enchanting and romantic.   The sounds of the garden were beautiful as well, as traditional Japanese koto music filled the air. This was a day overflowing with love, laughter and joy.  Congratulations, Emily and Jarrod.  Thank you for letting us be a part of such an incredible day.
