Michelle + Scott Portofino Yacht Club Wedding

Neither rain, sleet or snow - or a relentless drizzle - could prevent Michelle and Scott's wedding from being anything but one of the most amazing celebrations ever. Michelle was resplendent in her beautiful wedding gown and blinged-out Jimmy Choo's. The ceremony was held indoors in a beautiful setting overlooking the harbor. At the reception family and guests were treated to moving Hawaiian songs and hula dancing. I never knew hula could be so rock 'n roll sexy! It was completely obvious that Michelle and Scott are blessed with amazing family and friends... and vice versa. Such an amazing day. Take that, drizzle!

Santa Clarita Headshots - Jennifer Aquino-Shiotani

Had a great headshot session recently with good friend and actress, Jennifer Aquino-Shiotani. This is the session that preceeded the fun little "connection session" with her husband Kipp that I blogged earlier about - http://mitchelwuphotography.blogspot.com/2010/10/kipp-jenny-valencia-photo-session.html. Thanks for coming out and hanging out with me for a couple hours, Jenny... love the photos!

Michelle + Scott Portofino Yacht Club Engagement Session

Michelle and Scott are so clearly in love... so clearly meant for each other. The three of us spent a couple hours together walking around the Redondo Beach Marina. It was an overcast day but being with Michelle and Scott felt like being in sunshine. Corny but true. They showed me where Scott proposed. This is how engagement sessions are supposed to be. I can't wait to shoot their wedding next week.

Kipp + Jenny Valencia Photo Session

What started off this morning as a pretty simple head shot session for Jenny morphed into a really cool connection session with her and her husband, Kipp. Well, I have to admit... it was totally premeditated on my part! I knew well before they arrived that both of them would end up in each others arms in front of my camera. Oddly enough they didn't put up much resistance...
